8. “Tweet”: A 3rd party app developer named Submit button as Tweet. And that app was the first native twitter client for Mac. I am talking about Twitterrific. Therefore, this is where the “tweet” button came from.
9. Billionth Tweet: After 3 years and two months of launch, Twitter had its first billionth tweet.

Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry have more Twitter followers than the entire populations of Germany, Turkey, South Africa, Canada, Argentina and Egypt.
